St John Ambulance

Today Rochelle from St John visited us. We talked about when to ring an ambulance and what to do when you have an emergency.

• When something goes wrong and somebody gets hurt the first thing you do is find an adult. Only one person needs to stay with the injured person and everyone else needs to go away.
• If there is no adult around then take two deep breaths then call 111.
• You need to answer the operators questions, you will need to tell them if you need fire, ambulance or police then your name, address and phone number.
• Don;t hang up!! Stay on the line until help arrives.
