Surf Ed

Today we have two lifeguards visiting us to teach us about staying safe at the beach. We learnt about SSSW - what does that mean?

Slip on a shirt.
Slop on sunscreen.
Slap on a hat and...
Wrap on some sunglasses.


Tatiana got to rescue Nate using a life float.













We learnt five rules to keep ourselves safe at the beach.
1. Always swim between the flags.
2. Listen to the advice of lifeguards.
3. Always have an adult watching you.
4. Never swim or surf alone.
5. If in doubt, stay out.
