Cross Country

I was almost worried when I was at the start line, but I kept on running and I felt ok.  When I got to the finish line I asked my Mum to pour a little bit of water on me.  I was happy because it was finally over.

I was looking forward to it.  I didn't want to be last.  I was happy in the middle.  I was thinking, 'I have to be in first place.'  I was proud when I crossed the finish line.
