I have written a title.

I have included fact boxes.

I have an introduction.

I have written in paragraphs.

I have written a conclusion.

I have a blurb on the back cover.

I have included a contents page or/and an index.

I have included page numbers.

I have included the authors and illustrators name.

I have included pictures (one from the internet)

The pictures relate to the information.

I have included a glossary.

Literacy Term 2 Week 1

This week we have been finding out the features of fiction and non fiction texts.

We went to the library and had to find similarities and differences between a non fiction book and a fiction book.

This is what we found out

Then we brainstormed all of the different genres we could think of.

We will be reading and writing a lot of information reports and explanations this term in our Topic of Lost in Space.
